Communications & Outreach Coordinator
CFOS is seeking a skilled a communicator to help us grow the network and impact of Canadian Friends of Sabeel (CFOS) across Canada; raising awareness of the struggle of Palestinian Christians living under oppression. The Communications & Outreach Coordinator will help implement the CFOS’s goals and help build its profile and membership. They will be interested in and have familiarity with realities in Palestine/Israel.
Purpose and responsibility:
increase the organization’s visibility on social media and online platforms.
create and implement communication and marketing strategies for the organization’s programs, initiatives, digital fundraising and general growth.
We are seeking a person who:
is a self-starter; able to work independently and prioritize between multiple projects
has strong communication skills, both spoken and written.
has strong organizational and administrative skills.
is competent in the use of a variety social media platforms
is familiar with online membership management systems; Nationbuilder or similar project management programs, databases, etc.
Logistics of the position
Remote work position
Independent Contractor
10 hours per week
$26/hr
