"Come and See, Go and Tell" Information Webinar

Dear Friend.

Canadian Friends of Sabeel (CFOS), in partnership with the Sabeel Ecumenical Liberation Theology Centre in Jerusalem, invites artists, writers, musicians, Indigenous leaders, clergy, seminarians, labour leaders, and other public voices to an online information webinar about our “Come and See. Go and tell.” project.

This webinar takes place at a moment of grave urgency. Palestinians are living through genocide, starvation, forced displacement, and the systematic destruction of life in Gaza, alongside accelerating ethnic cleansing, apartheid, and violent military occupation in East Jerusalem and the West Bank. In the face of these ongoing horrors, CFOS and Sabeel believe it is essential to create spaces for truth-telling, witness, and informed engagement.

The webinar will be held at 7:00 PM ET on Thursday, July 30, 2026, and will introduce participants to the purpose and vision of this initiative. It will outline how CFOS and Sabeel accompany Palestinians who continue to live, create, worship, and resist under conditions of extreme violence and repression. Participants, who have recently returned, will address the current realities on the ground and the threats faced by human rights defenders and civil society. Participants, who wish to go, will learn how this project invites Canadians to witness firsthand, engage ethically, and return home prepared to speak, write, teach, and advocate with integrity.

The webinar will also provide a brief overview of upcoming delegation opportunities, while prioritizing the ethical, ecumenical, and human rights framework guiding this work. This session is open to Canadian citizens and permanent residents aged 18 and older who are committed to peace with justice, and international law, and who are seeking ways to respond meaningfully to the ongoing catastrophe in Palestine/Israel. To register for the webinar please complete this form.

To receive more information or if you wish to participate in one of our delegations, please contact: Rana Atie at cfosinfluencer@gmail.com.

We invite you to come, listen, and learn—so that what is happening in Palestine/Israel now is neither denied nor forgotten. Sincerely.
